Terms & Conditions
The cost to purchase an eCME course is $20 per CME credit.

Once purchased, a personal account will be activated. This account will be terminated either at the completion of the course (all cases completed at least once) OR at the end of a 60-day period, whichever comes first. This 60-day period starts from the time the login name and password are issued and received. In order to earn CME credit for the course, the user must visit every page of every case.

Each course will present a pre-test and post-test to measure effectiveness of the learning tool. After successful completion of the course, the user is also encouraged to complete an evaluation form. Submission of the post-test and evaluation form will generate a request for a CME certificate for the CME activity. A hardcopy of the certificate will be mailed to the user. Also at the conclusion of the course, the user will have an opportunity to purchase the companion CD-ROM for that course.

Accreditation
The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.

This CME activity was planned in accordance with ACCME Essentials and Standards for Enduring Materials. The UCSF Office of CME designates each activity for the maximum number of category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award, as indicated at the beginning of each module.

Receiving CME Credit
The program digitally tracks qualification for credit. Once the review of all cases is complete and each page has been visited, the program will confirm the user's completion and present a short post-test. Submission of the electronic post-test and the evaluation form will generate a request for the CME certificate verifying the number of credits earned.

Note: Each page of a course must be visited to qualify for credit.

Companion CD-ROM
Each eCME course is matched with a reference CD-ROM, available for an additional charge equal to the cost of the corresponding course. The content is identical to the corresponding eCME course with the exception of the layout, which is a non-interactive text-and-image format. All of the cases from the course are organized in the same sequence and each diagnosis is revealed on the Case Index page for easy reference. Questions and answers for each case are readily available for quick review. Correct answers will be indicated in green text while the incorrect answers are shown in red text.

Note: The companion CD-ROM can only be purchased at the time of completing the eCME course. They are not currently available individually.
